This conference is affiliated with Desert
Ministries, a gathering of ministers and people of faith founded by the Reverend Dr. Richard M. Cromie for the purpose of using personal experience and insights from the Bible to guide others.

What We Do

This may be the only Presbyterian conference that is planned with the Head of Staff in mind.  Both the current Conference Director, Glenn Doak, and the founding director have been Heads of Staff or have served multi-staffed churches their entire ministries.

This conference attracts acclaimed speakers, who through their knowledge and experience are able to lead ministers through the many unique challenges presented as part of being the head of multi-staffed churches.  Past speakers include Andrew Purves, Marva Dawn, Tony Campolo, Greg Jones, and Anna Carter Florence.
